Blue Ridge Park
From Roanoke, Vinton and Salem: take 460 East until you see the General Shale Webster brick sign. Turn right on State Rte 738 (Webster Road); go 2 miles and turn left onto Park Drive where you’ll see the sign for Blue Ridge Park – Botetourt County. Park Drive ends in the parking lot.
Boxley Fields (abbrev. BOX)
From I-81 take exit 150A and travel south on Alternate 220 / Rt 604 for 5 miles. Turn left onto US 460 East. Proceed 4.7 miles and turn right on SR 616. Continue a short distance and turn left onto Colonial Road. The ball field is at the top of the hill on the right.
Breckinridge Elementary (abbrev. BRECK OR FINC)
Take US 220 North to the Town of Fincastle. After passing the Captain Seafood Tavern restaurant on the left, turn right onto Back Street. Continue to the end of the street and turn left onto Spring Wood Road (Rt. 630). The elementary school is on your left.
Buchanan Elementary (abbrev. BUCH)
From I-81 exit 150, turn left and proceed north on Rt 11. Continue for 8 miles beyond the Town of Troutville. When you reach the John Deere Tractor Co. on the left, turn right on Pico Rd. between the Happy’s Exxon and the General Dollar Store. Turn left onto School House Road. The elementary school is on the left side of the road.
Central Academy Middle School (abbrev. CAMS)
Continue past the Breckinridge Elementary School (see above) and take the first left onto Poor Farm Road. The middle school is the third building on the left.
Cloverdale Fields (abbrev. CLOV)
From I-81 take exit 150A and travel south on Alternate 220 / Rt 604. Proceed beyond the stop light and turn right onto SR 605 (Sanderson Drive). The school is on the left.
Eagle Rock Elementary (abbrev. ERE)
Take US 220 North beyond the Town of Eagle Rock. Turn left onto Eagle’s Nest Road. Beyond the stop sign the school is straight ahead. The ball field is behind the school.
Greenfield Elementary (abbrev. GRF)
Take US 220 North to Daleville. Past the Lord Botetourt High School, turn left at the stop light onto Rt 779. Continue for approximately 3 miles and turn right onto Etzler Rd. Turn right into the school parking lot; the ball fields are directly to the left.
Greenfield Recreation (abbrev. GRF REC)
(as above) ... Continue past the Greenfield Elementary School for .7 miles. Turn right onto Preston Way (the entrance of the Greenfield Recreation area); soccer fields are on the immediate left.
James River High School (abbrev. JRHS)
From I-81 take exit 162. Turn right onto US 11 North and continue 4.7 miles, through the Town of Buchanan. Turn left onto Rt. 43. Continue approximately 5 miles. The school is on the left.
Lord Botetourt High School Softball Field (abbrev. LBHS SB)
From I-81 take exit 150B and take Rt 220 North (Roanoke Road) to Daleville. The school is on the left. Before the school, take a left onto Tinkermill Road. The softball field is on the left.
Read Mountain Middle School (abbrev. RMMS)
From I-81 take exit 150A and travel south on Alternate 220 / Rt 604 approximately 3 miles. Take a right at the light onto Read Mountain Road. Continue approximately 2.5 miles and turn left onto Orchard Hill Drive. The school is at the end of the road.
Troutville Elementary School (abbrev. TRVL)
From I-81 exit 150, turn left and proceed north on Rt 11 to the Town of Troutville. Turn right onto Stoney Battery Road, and then take the first right on Barron Drive. The elementary school is straight ahead. The ball fields are located behind the school.
